Dear Church Family,

Well, here we are still celebrating after 31 years and they said it wouldn’t last six months!  Well, I guess we proved them wrong on that point, didn’t we? So, as people of faith, we know that “This is the day the Lord has made, Let Us Rejoice and Be Glad!! Alleluia!!!

Yes, we are celebrating in a sort of sad but most humble way these many years of coming together as one church family.  We all have memories of times past, joyous, sorrowful, but most gratefully, thankfully, and appreciative of the glorious times we have spent here working in and for the Kingdom of God.  I am most thankful for the many opportunities of being able and available to pray with you, not only as parishioners but as friends and family.  I am glad that I was here to show up, speak out, pray, and try to do the right thing in the church and the community.  I know that wherever we are we are going to be all right and we will continue to grow as spiritual, wholesome members of the Body of Christ.

In Psalm 145 from today’s reading, it says, “Let all your works give you thanks, O LORD, and let your faithful ones bless you.  Let them discourse of the glory of your kingdom and speak of your might.”  Amen!!

So, church family, this is not the end, just an opportunity for a new beginning and continuance of living out our profession of Faith,  “I believe in God, the Father, Maker of Heaven and Earth…”  God bless you and keep you, be gracious to you, let His face shine upon you, and give you peace.  Amen!  Alleluia!!

Love you always,

Father Bob
